Quilt Challenge - Quilting Around the Courthouse Steps
Max Size 24" x 24" Cost $20.00 includes entry and challenge package
The Quilt Challenge Package includes 4 - 5 Fat Quarters, which you will use to make the quilt, and entry form.
Rules:
1) Quilt needs to be completed quilt (no tops, please) Max Size 24" x 24" (576")
2) Min of (1) Courthouse Step Block has to be included (any size)
3) Include all the fabric choices included in the Challenge package
4) May add up to (3) additional fabrics of your choice
5) Embellish as you see fit
6) Quilt needs to be pieced, hand or machine applique.
7) Less than 10% can be machine embroidery

We are getting ready for our Quilt Show, Quilting Around the Courthouse Steps, it will be held on June 18, 2011, with a Pre-Show on June 17, 2011. The show will be held at Decatur Visitor Center, 106 South Trinity, Decatur, Texas (in the Old Post Office Building)

For the WCQG Quilt Pre-Show on Friday 6/17/2011, 3 pm to 6 pm - Shirley Rutherford, Bowie, TX will be doing a Trunk Show and Lecture on Log Cabin Quilts. the Fee is $10.00 Refreshments and Door Prize will be there. Make sure you come and join us it will be special.
WCQG QUILT SHOW - Saturday June 18, 2011, 10 am - 6 pm - Entry Fee is $5.00 which includes a Door Prize entry - Lessons/Classes (free), Vendors, Antique Bed turning, Judged and Non-Judge Quilt Categories, and a Special Quilt Challenge and lots of Door Prizes!
We will also have Raffle Quilt, especially made for the Quilt Show and the Quilt Show theme.
