Karen went into detail about how you choose fabrics for a quilt. All of the different aspects you need to think about when choosing fabric. Whether it be color choices, types of fabric, and how you can determine what kind of fabrics you have. I myself learned alot for both ladies.Meeting Minutes

We want to do our part to help out our fellow quilters. On March 16, 2012, Karen Combs an internationally known quilt teacher, au-thor and fabric designer had her rental car broken into in New Braunfels, TX and her teaching suitcase was stolen. Inside the suitcase were the quilts from her popular Patchwork Illusions class, as well as all of her teaching supplies and step-by-step demos from her classes. She asks that if you happen upon any of these things to please contact her at: Karen@karencombs.com. You can see more information on her website: www.karencombs.com.
