April

After the March meeting members started cutting out the raffle quilt.  Then before the April meeting the blocks were assembled by some members.

After the April business meeting  members who stayed sewed the blocks together into rows.  And then the rows together. The border was sewn together and then sewn to the quilt later.  Now for the quilting!

March

Carolyn Watkins brought the quilt that Barbara Peel made.  We have decided to make a queen size version for our 2015 raffle quilt.

Lots of show and tell of member's talent.

After our business meeting a program followed given by Priscilla Moreland.  She showed us how she paints on fabric. Members were able to try their hand at it and see items Priscilla had made using this technique.

Installation of officers

February's meeting included installation of officers for 2015.

Priscilla shows her wall hanging made entirely from silk.

Mary Mitchell shows a baby quilt she made for our community service project.

Mary Mitchell made a table runner.

Brenda Smith shows a tea towel she made.

Brenda shows a snowman quilt she made for a fundraiser for a group in Jacksboro.

Joyce Betty shows a quilt she pieced and is donating to our quilt show's auction.

Jeanne Walsh shows a throw she made.  Also pictured is a dog they are currently 

training for assistance.
